Common questions

Let’s get you back to the moment.

How do I save a photo?

After taking a photo, tap Save. Disp develops the image on your device and requests photo-library access if Android has not already granted it.

How do I record a video?

Choose Video in the camera mode switch, tap the shutter to start recording, then tap it again to stop. Disp asks for microphone access so your clip can include sound. Review the developed clip and save it to your device library.

Why does Disp need camera access?

Camera access lets Disp show the live viewfinder and capture photos or videos. You can change this permission at any time in Android settings.

Why can’t I save to my gallery?

Check that Disp can access media in Android settings, then try saving again. The permission label can vary by Android version.

Where are saved photos and videos?

Open your device’s photo or gallery app. Media you save from Disp is added to the device library.

Why do I see ads?

Disp can show a Google banner in Gallery and an interstitial after every five successful saves. Ad availability depends on connectivity and consent. If Google requires privacy choices, open the privacy-options control in Gallery.

Can I turn off the date stamp?

Yes. The date stamp can be switched off from the camera controls before capture.

Where can I download Disp?

Disp is available for Android on Google Play. The App Store version is not available yet.
